Delete your data

This page explains how to have the data we hold about you in Shayp deleted. It applies to Mware BV, Scheibeekstraat 20, 2020 Antwerp, Belgium (company number BE 1001.267.058), the developer of Shayp.

Shayp has no account

There is no sign-up, no password and no e-mail address. If you joined the leaderboard, we hold a record identified by a random identifier that the app generated on your device, plus the username and country you chose. There is nothing to "close" — only a record to remove.

How to request deletion

E-mail hello@pernox.games with your friend code in the message.

You will find your friend code in the game under High Scores → Friends. It is six characters long. We use it to identify the right record, so we do not need any other information from you.

If you have already uninstalled the game and no longer know your code, e-mail us anyway with the username you used and roughly when you last played, and we will do our best to find it.

What gets deleted

Your username and friend code
The random device identifier and the server token linked to it
Your country
All of your scores and the individual score submissions behind them
Your friend links, in both directions — you disappear from other players' friends lists and they from yours

Deletion is permanent. It cannot be undone, and your scores do not come back if you install the game again.

What stays, and for how long

On your device: coins, cosmetics, settings and your personal top-10 are stored only on your phone. We cannot reach them. Uninstalling the game removes them.
Purchase records: if you bought something, Apple or Google keeps the transaction record under their own policies and their own retention periods. We do not control that, and tax law requires us to keep our own sales records for seven years. Those records do not contain your username or your scores.
Your e-mail to us: kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

How long it takes

We aim to confirm within a few days and to complete deletion within 30 days of your request, as the GDPR requires.
