Pernox Games is a game studio operated by Mware, based in Antwerp, Belgium. This Privacy Policy explains how Mware ("Pernox," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit pernox.games (the "Site") or play any of our games, such as Shayp (the Site and our games together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. Depending on how you use the Services, this may include:
- Gameplay & device data. Information such as scores, progress, settings, coins earned, app version, device model, operating system, language, and general performance/crash data.
- Identifiers used for advertising. Mobile advertising identifiers (for example, Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID) and similar identifiers, where permitted, to serve and measure ads.
- Purchase information. When you make an in-app purchase, the app store (Apple or Google) processes the transaction. We receive confirmation of the purchase but not your full payment details such as card numbers.
- Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include.
We do not require you to create an account or provide your name to play our games.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Services and fix bugs;
- To save your game progress, scores, and preferences on your device;
- To display advertising and measure its performance;
- To process and validate in-app purchases and restore purchases;
- To understand how the Services are used through aggregated analytics;
- To respond to your questions and support requests;
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.
3. Advertising
Our games may display advertising through Google AdMob and its advertising partners. To provide and measure ads, these partners may collect and process device identifiers and usage data, and may use this information to show you more relevant ads. You can learn more and manage your choices here:

On iOS, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before using your advertising identifier for tracking, where required. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings. If you purchase an ad-free upgrade where available, ads are removed from the game.
4. In-app purchases
Some games offer optional in-app purchases (such as removing ads or cosmetic items). Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms and privacy policies. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
5. Analytics
We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate, non-identifying trends — such as how many people play a level or where players drop off — so we can improve our games. Where third-party analytics providers are used, their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers who help us run the Services (such as advertising, analytics, and app-store platforms), under appropriate obligations;
- To comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Pernox, our players, or others;
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.
7. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@pernox.games and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Where our games are distributed to a general audience, we work to configure advertising in a manner consistent with the app stores' families and child-directed policies.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information, and to opt out of certain processing. You can:
- Reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization in your device settings;
- Adjust tracking permissions on iOS via Settings › Privacy;
- Delete locally stored game data by uninstalling the app;
- Contact us to exercise applicable data rights.

9. Data retention & security
Most game data is stored locally on your device. We retain information we do collect only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. International users
The Services may be operated from, and information processed in, countries other than your own. By using the Services, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data-protection laws.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted within the Services. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
